Question:
I love very high, pronounced cheekbones. Of course I was not blessed with them! I would like cheek implants. Are these implants inserted through an incision in the oral cavity? How do you prevent them from shifting? Will I look good instantly or will there be too much swelling to tell?
Answer:
I agree that high and pronounced cheekbone can look very attractive in some individuals. While placing cheek implants can achieve this, I believe that adding volume gives a more natural look. This can be achieved by either placing fillers, such as Radiesse or with a series of fat injections. The fat can be obtained from the belly area or the inner thighs.
