Nose Surgery

Posted in Nose Surgery on February 19th
Question:

I had Miami nose surgery to remove a hump on my nose. The results were initially good but then one side seemed to have collapsed. Why did this happen and what needs to be done to fix it?

Answer:

It is unfortunate that this has happened. This can occur when too much cartilage is taken. This leads to loss of structural support and which then causes the side to collapse. The good news is that this can be corrected. We can perform a revision rhinoplasty procedure by placing a small cartilage graft over the area to elevate the collapsed side.
