Revision Rhinoplasty

Question:

How long after rhinoplasty will it be before the swelling subsides enough to feel comfortable in public?

Answer:

I tell my patients that they will be presentable at one week. This is because most of my patients do not bruise with rhinoplasty. However, there are sometimes when they do bruise. Usually, this can be easily concealed with some base make-up.

Question:

Betty
What should I do about bad nose job results?

Answer:

Consider traveling for a revision rhinoplasty
Revision rhinoplasty can be a very challenging procedure for the surgeon  and patient. I therefore recommend selecting a surgeon that has experience

A patient should wait about one year after the rhinoplasty to have a revision. The reason is that it takes approximately one year for all of the swelling to go down. Operating a nose that still has some swelling may cause the surgeon to miscalculate during the surgery. Under special circumstances, small minor revisions may be done at 8 months.
