Q: Can I get good results from a face and neck lift without a brow lift?
A: Facelift without a browlift
I think that most patients can have a great facelift result without having a browlift done. In fact, most of the facelifts I perform are without a browlift. Good luck.
Q: Am I a good candidate for a facelift? I’m 46 and this was the recommendation I got from a local plastic surgeon.
A: Can you benefit from a facelift?
After reviewing your pictures, I think that you would benefit from a facelift and fat transfer. When done together, these two procedures work well to rejuvenate the face and neck. Good luck.
Q: Facelifts, fat transfer and fillers: what is the right choice?
A: Male in the mid 50’s looking for rejuvenation. What’s best?
For a male in the 50’s, the only way to really improve the neck and lower face is with a lower facelift. The neck is tightened by “placating”, bringing together of the platysma muscle. In the lower face, this same platysma/SMAS complex is elevated. There should be no tension at all on the skin, as this can lead to visible scars, ear lobe change and a pulled look.
