I’m Asian and I’ve always hated my nasal tip. I have a very wide, meaty tip which makes my nostrils look like triangles. I also have a somewhat flat bridge. Can these problems be improved without an implant?
Answer:
I think that a rhinoplasty procedure can greatly improve your nose. The nasal tip can be defined and reshaped to a more refined one. This is done using dome binding sutures and cartilage grafts. The flat bridge can be augmented (elevated) using either alloplastic implants (synthetic) or by using grafts from your own tissues. These can be either cartilage (septal, ear, or rib) or soft tissue. I often use soft tissue obtained from the area behind the ear. This soft tissue does not augment as much as cartilage, but it does look very natural.
