When does one need a neck lift alone without a full facelift?
Answer:
I perform the necklift operation on two types of patients. The first is in younger patients, ages between 38 and 45 years of age. These patients may benefit from just a tightening of the neck without needing a full facelift. The other group of patients that may benefit from an isolated necklift are those that already had a facelift and have noticed that the neck has sagged a little. This is actually a common occurrence, as the skin in older individuals tends to have lost elasticity.
